SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT US AS PARENTS ARE MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF NOTHING BECAUSE IT’S JUST LIKE THE NORMAL FLU. NO IT’S NOT IT HAS KILLED KID’S.

I AS A PARENT AM TAKING MY KID’S OUT OF SCHOOL’S UNTIL THEY GET IT UNDER CONTROL, WHEN I CALL MY DOCTOR AND THEY TELL ME WITH MS NOT TO COME IN TODAY BECAUSE OF THIS FLU THAT’S BAD.

I JUST THOUGHT THAT YOU SHOULD ALL KNOW, THAT IT’S HERE.. THE KIDS ARE GETTING A VERY HIGH FEVER, SO JUST KEEP A EYE ON YOUR CHILD.

AND I DONT WANT TO HEAR ANY COMMENT’S THAT THIS IS LIKE THE NORMAL FLU BECAUSE IT’S NOT.

IM TAKING MY KIDS OUT OF SCHOOL UNTIL THEY CLEAN IT UP……YOU MAY THINK IM JUMPING THE GUN BUT I DONT WANT TO LOSE MY KID’S I HAVE 4 IN SCHOOL AND ONE IS ALREADY SICK,, AND I HAVE NO IMMUNE SYSTEM, I LOVE MY KIDS AND IM SURE YOU DO YOURS TO THATS WHY IM TELLING YOU BECAUSE THE SCHOOL IS HIDING IT……CRICKET.

THESE BANDS WORK HARD AND IM SURE THEY WOULD LIKE TO HEAR WHAT THEIR FAN’S THINK ABOUT THEM TOO. THANKS FOR STOPPIN BY..*CRICKET

I took shots for a year, but I couldn’t handle the symptoms, so i quit. The doctor later put me on another shot and I have been in remission for 9 years now. I still have a lot of symptoms, but my doctor saved me. If I wouldn’t of went to another doctor, I’d be in a wheelchair by now. Due to all the stress I was under and the ms symptoms, it destroyed my marriage and I was in complete denial. My husband was young at the time, and my thoughts and watching him worry about me like he did he was great, but I couldn’t do that to him. So I soon started acting out even worse. I later got divorced, but he didn’t want it and deep down and I didn’t, but he never knew why. He needed to have a normal life and be happy, and not take care of me.

I have friends and my kids that help me all the time and a boyfriend but his my escape from my MS. We never talk about it, he’s just there for me. I’m happy not thinking about it, but anyone with MS would know that MS is a lonely illness. Others wouldn’t know what we’re going through, even the hospitals here in my home town. Only my doctor knows what I go through, and he is there for me always.

My daughter came to me and told me she has been tired a lot and been getting weak. Her mood swings are crazy. Everyone just say’s she a teenager, and doctors say that your kids won’t get it, well I’ve heard different. I’m going to keep a close eye on her, there are a lot of teenagers that are getting MS. It’s coming out everyday more and more. Yesterday, my daughter and I were talking about it, and she was telling me the kids around here that have it.

People, this illness shouldn’t be ignored and you shouldn’t be afraid, because they are working on a cure and cause everyday. You are not alone in this! I’m going to start my own support group soon in Starke County, and maybe people that do have this will come and talk and get some information on it that others may not know. Don’t give up there is help.

Next week I’ll write more on this some things you can do to help some of your symptoms. I’ll try and show you its not the end of the world with this. Things like exercise, music, pets are all things can help with MS. Stress is one of our worse symptoms, music combats stress and is relaxing to the brain, water helps the muscles and pets are there so we are not alone. I have one, she’s great.

Remember this. The famous serenity prayer has it right,,….grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,”the courage to change the things I can,,.and the wisdom to know the different,”getting the wisdom part right is the biggest challenge.
